RAINRAP

Founded in 2011 by Stacy Struminger and Rachel Teyssier, RainRaps was born out of their collective frustration over the lack of stylish, waterproof garments in the marketplace.  They’ve created a product that once seemed like a contradiction–sleek, modern, and flattering rain ponchos that will make you look forward to rain in the forecast! Their ponchos are reversible, lightweight, and obviously water-repellent. What makes them so unique is that they’re structured and have the look of an elegant pashmina rather than a tent-like poncho. RainRaps ponchos come in a wide variety of colors, and you’re getting a solid color and pattern since they’re reversible. They also make a cute sporty version that features a front zipper and pockets for when form isn’t as important to you as functionality, as well as one for colder weather that’s water-repellent on one side with a cozy flannel-like material on the other. If you prefer a traditional rainwear, they have a collection of reversible, hooded trench coats to keep you dry. These are lightweight and have a classic A-Line frame cut. The brand is one that you’ll feel good supporting because each year they choose a non-profit to donate a percentage of their profits to, and for 2024 they’ve chosen UNICEF, for every child.
